Goth London – unleash your dark side

Often regarded as an off-shoot of punk-rock, Goth Rock has created its own movement for those embracing the darkness within. Goth is strongly associated with the music of iconic bands (think Bauhaus) and bold fashion from leather and spikes to velvet Victoriana. For a culture that seems to emphasise a monochrome black, it remains rich and diverse, with a cult following characterised by the controversial popularity of the more recent Marylin Manson. Let us walk you through the best of Goth culture and its darker citadels in London.

Tainted Prince

Specialising more towards the Romantic Goth genre of vampires and aristocrats, evoking the roles of Christopher Lee and writings of Edgar Allen Poe, Tainted Prince has an enticing range of Regency inspired frock coats and ruff shirts as well as spiked leather jackets.

Founded in 2009, they aim to create high quality garments for regular wearing like a high street shop, but in their style that caters for fans of Victoriana, Steampunk, Goth and Punk alike.
