There are a whole lot of reasons to find yourself in Victoria. Work or just a stopping point or you had a meeting at Buckingham Palace. Lucky you! Food everywhere, cafes, bars, little ugly places selling foul tasting food and of course hundreds of chain stores flogging you their wonderful eats.

Grand Imperial
A two-minute walk from Victoria station will take get you to Grand Imperial, in Grosvenor Hotel. It opened in December 2010. They are famous for their Hong Kong Cantonese cuisine. They are also famous for their afternoon tea. With a Cantonese twist to this quintessentially English tradition, you will find yourself spoilt for choice. The three-tier cake stand remains, but the delicacies have changed, served with unlimited refills of tea, of which there are many varieties.

Tozi
This accommodating restaurant, though pricey, is well known for its Venetian tapas. The staff give you a warm welcome and you’ll get a cosy feel when you enter, even though the place is large on space. Those who have visited praise the food, particularly the sword fish and artichokes. All in all, a great stopover for a parched throat and an empty belly.

A. Wong
A. Wong is the pride and joy of owner and chef Andrew Wong. He has elevated the Chinese cuisine without elevating the prices. The choice is up to the customer. Choose by the dish or order the tasting menu, which consists of eight courses. A lot of thought and effort is put into the presentation of the dishes.
This really is some of the better Chinese food in the area.

Shake Shack
Danny Meyer’s Shake Shack – an American burger brand – is due to open its 96-seater restaurant later this year at Victoria’s new Nova development. This is a part of their cautious expansion plan across the country with this being their fifth restaurant in the UK.
The menu will remain the same with an emphasis of high-quality burgers and hotdogs, accompanied by soft drinks, beer and wine.

The Orange
This laid back yet luxurious hotel has recently been beautifully restored. On the ground floor is the ever-popular pub. The extensive drinks menu, complemented by classic British dishes and wood-fired pizzas is sure to please.
On the first floor is their airy and bright dining room. The hotel also has four rooms with luxurious king-size beds and free Wi-Fi.

The Willow Walk
The Willow Walk is everything you expect from a Wetherspoon’s pub. It is named after the tree-lined thoroughfare which used to be here. Willow Walk is very popular for both its bar and food menu. They also have a great and extensive breakfast menu.
Moreover, they are a wonderful option to grab something to eat and drink after you have finished a late-night show in the West End.

The Qube Project
The Qube Project is a basement club which opened in Victoria in October 2014. Their declared intention is to bring the best of disco, house and garage acts from around the world. As a result, they create an impressive atmosphere by using high-end audio and visual wizardry. Know as a ‘Glitzy modern nightspot and party venue with international DJ sessions and VIP booths.’
