How to Achieve an Effortless Boho Look!

When I think of Boho style my mind goes to an effortlessly dressed bronzed goddess at Coachella wearing a fedora, silver jewellery and tan sandals.  Its a style many of us have tried to achieve and for a look that is so effortless we somehow still struggle to achieve it. We have found some items to add to your wardrobe that will instantly create a boho-chic look.

The staple of any boho wardrobe is a simple floaty dress.  Our favourite floral designs are Nasty Gal’s Floral Dress and Pretty Little Thing Floral Tie Back Midi Dress.  Finish this look off with ASOS Felt Boater Hat and Tia Cross Wrap Strap Leather Sandals for a Sienna Miller 2004 appeal!

Bringing boho into 2018 our favourite styles are co-ords.  Free People is the home of bohemian wear and their white Ruched Co-Ord is a perfect example of bohemian style now. However, Nasty Gal offers an incredibly cheap alternative and has a real Mary-Kate Olson vibe!

Our tones of choice are yellow/mustard hues this summer.  With lace and sheer being favoured by fashion influencers this summer, our dress pick is a Ruffle Lace Plunge Dress. While MW by Matthew Williamson Orange crepe dress is a gorgeous maxi option.  Simply pair either of these dresses with an embellished tassel cross body bag and you’ll look like a boho pro!

Flared trousers are the best alternative to a floral dress! Cher started our obsession with flared trousers in the mid 60’s and we can’t thank her enough! However, Boohoo Tall Edwina Stripe Flare is a fun modern-day take on the trouser.  Match this with more flares!  Missguided Black Polka Dot Satin Extreme Flare Sleeve Bodysuit is perfect. But you must complete the look with Pretty Little Thing Silver Boho Detail Small Hoops.
