Style: Shopping The Best Bafta Black Outfits!

The Baftas on Sunday saw a sea of women elegantly dressed in black, many exhibiting a ‘Times up’ badge. The black attire was to show solidarity against sexual harassment and support of the ‘Times up’ movement. A movement originally circulating in America following the Hollywood sexual harassment revelations, British actresses showed their unity with the cause at the Baftas. Despite all dressed in black the women on the red carpet still looked glorious.  Therefore, we couldn’t resist shopping their looks.

Halterneck:

Black Panther star, Lupita Nyong’o wowed in an amazing, studded halter neck.  In the theme of Lupita we chose this velvet embellished dress from River Island. While Margot Robbie looked stunning as always in a Givenchy pleated halterneck, similar to a cutout crepe halter we found on The Outnet!

Velvet:

Angelina Jolie wore an off the shoulder Ralph & Russo dress, with Angelina elegance this Emilio De la Morena is the perfect new dress for your wardrobe. Ted Bakers, velvet, bee embellished dress carries all the same motifs as Letitia Wright’s Gucci dress, at a fraction of the price!

Embellishment:

Embellishment was not just seen on Letitia though. Naomie Harris embellished couture was a vision of excellence, get her look with Asos- A star is born skater dress.

Pleats:

Gemma Arterton was accompanied by an entourage of activists, yet this was not the only reason she stood out. Gemma was dressed in a pleated one shouldered couture Alberta Ferretti, similar to Lipsy’s ruffle one shoulder maxi dress. Finally, Emma Roberts elegance was heightened by her Schiaparelli gown.  However, to achieve her look for day-to-day we love Asos sweetheart neck pencil dress.
