It’s time to get your good underwear out as one of this Spring’s biggest trends is transparency. Don’t fear though the catwalks did have some more modest alternatives including beautiful semi-sheer materials and panelling.
We saw an incredible range of takes on the theme on the Spring 2018 Catwalks. Burberry’s clear plastic trench coats modernised our favourite classic and combined two of the biggest trends of 2018. Similarly at Paris fashion week Chanel accessorised with plastic perspex; ponytail hair tubes, bucket hats and thigh-high block heel boots.
Simone Rocha took a much softer approach with tulle layered dresses, Jessica Biel wore a similarly feminine dress by Oscar de la Renta at the critics choice award, looking sensational.
With many ways to wear this current trend and affordable high street alternatives there is an option for everyone, so we’ve provided our favourites from extravagantly modernised to delicately feminine.
