Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are in London in Sept!

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds London show tickets are on sale in their first London concert since 2014. The band played recently in Australia and received amazing reviews, like Nick Cave always does. The Australian born singer-songwriter and his eight piece band are set to play the O2 on Saturday September 30.

caveThe main theme of the show will be their recent album Skeleton Tree which has been raved about across the globe. The album deeply explores Nick Cave’s personal tragedy when in July 2015, Cave’s 15-year-old son Arthur died when he fell from a cliff near the family’s current home in Brighton. After the tragedy, Cave invited a film crew in and simply carried on working.

The Guardian said of the album that ‘It’s a record of unusual rawness, honesty and intensity.’ while Punknews aptly said ‘From the first note to the last, you’re transported back to a time you lost someone close to you and then retrace the path you traveled as you dealt with it…. But, if this isn’t a masterpiece… I don’t know what it is.’

Tickets went on sale today and can be purchased here if you are speedy, otherwise hit the resellers as the concert will be sold out fast.

Enjoy!
