Eating and Drinking in Hampstead!

Hamptstead is one of the places in London where those who live their brag about how its only 8 miles from central London. Those who don’t live there refer to Hampstead as ‘North London’ or on the ‘Northern Line.’ 🙂

Whoever you may be, there’s some great food and drink to be had, here’s what we’ve found so far..

Ginger & White

HampsteadGinger & White leveraged on being the only decent café in the affluent Hampstead area; it was earlier lacking interesting places to eat and have a cuppa.

This petite coffee shop was the culmination of the antipodean café scene with British food culture. The good baristas here serve a perfect flat white. The café makes its own baked beans and the produce is sourced locally for the freshest ingredients. This kid-friendly café is usually packed with customers, including the little ones pattering about.

This is where the magic happens. The chefs serve you a delectable range of skewers such as Yakitori, the typical chicken and spring onion combo skewers, stewed pork belly & grilled salmon jaw.

Although specialising in skewers, they also serve delicious sushi rolls made with the freshest seafood. Each sushi reminds you a bit of Japan while being tucked away in Hampstead.
